Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. (CMT), is looking for a motivated  candidate. Water Resources projects are generally civil engineering related, including but not limited to water, wastewater, and storm water.  As a water resources engineer, responsibilities may include working closely with project engineers and project managers on a wide variety of water resources projects in a team environment with solid mentorship in the preparation of studies, reports, models and design plans and specifications.  Capabilities in the use of design software and computer aided drafting are essential to this position.  Work tasks may also include report writing, field investigations, cost estimating, construction observation, attendance at client meetings and overnight travel to project sites.   

Minimum qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering with coursework emphasis in water, wastewater or stormwater/drainage
  • Strong technical skills to include experience Microsoft Office products with exposure to computer-aided drafting software, such as AutoCAD or Microstation
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel and/or work in other CMT offices
  • Ability to work in the field as needed
  • Acceptable driving record

Preferred qualifications:
  • FE certification or the ability to quickly obtain certification in anticipation of PE certification
  • Previous internship or co-op experience
  • Strong working knowledge of computer-aided design software
  • Course work in hydrology, hydraulics and water/wastewater treatment
